DESCRIPTION:In order to better meet the preferences of members and satisfy bylaws requirements\, WSPTA has decided to reimagine its annual convention in 2023. On May 6 and 7\, WSPTA will hold its first ever Spring Training Conference. This will be a in-person event at the Hilton Bellevue with a registration fee. Attendees will have the ability to learn\, network\, and celebrate the successes of the past year. In this Annual Business Meeting the membership will vote on the 2023-2025 Board of Directors and proposed bylaws changes. PTA members submit new positions to be added to WSPTA’s policy platform\, volunteers on the advocacy committee\, resolutions committee and board of directors review them\, and delegates at legislative assembly amend\, debate and vote on whether to adopt them. \nThis year\, WSPTA is planning for legislative assembly to be a hybrid event for more inclusive participation.
